Children's double-layer knitted hat with ear-flaps
Children's double-layer knitted hat with earflaps- a master class on knitting a beautiful, comfortable and warm hat with earflaps for children. The knitting complexity of this model is low and it can be connected by anyone, even a beginning needlewoman.
Materials and tools:
- gray yarn for outer caps 50-70 g;
- White or other color yarn for the inner cap 50g;
- a little yarn "Lotus Grass Grass Stretch";
- hook number 4.
- rev. - air loop;
- comp. Art. - connecting bar;
- Art. b / n - column without nakida;
- half a dozen s / n - semi-colonies with double crochet.
Before starting knitting, I recommend that we calculate the maximum diameter of the bottom of the cap, based on the circumference of the baby’s head: from the formula for the circumference of the circle C = 2πR = nD, where C is the circumference, R is the radius, D is the diameter, and n is the constant Pi (3 , 14), we obtain D = C / n. In this case, with a head circumference of C = 52 cm, the maximum diameter is D = 52 / 3.14 = 16.56 cm.
Knit the outer cap:
1 row: 2 resp., close in the ring, then knit in a circle 6 st.b/n(6loops);
2nd row: 6 increments (12 loops);
3 series: an increase, 1 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (18 loops);
4 row: increase, 2 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (24 loops);
5 row: increase, 3 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (30 loops);
6 row: an increase, 4 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (36 loops);
7 row: increase, 5 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (42 loops);
8 row: increase, 6 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (48 loops);
9 row: increase, 7 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (54 loops);
10 row: increase, 8 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (60 loops);
11 row: increase, 9 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (66 loops);
12 row: increase, 10 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (72 loops). We get a circle with a diameter of approx. 11 cm.
Next, knit with increments through the row.
13 row: 72 tbsp. b / n (72 loops);
14 row: increase, 11 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (78 loops);
15 row: 78 st. b / n (72 loops);
16 row: increase, 12 tbsp. b / n - repeat 6 times (84 loops);
We get a circle with a diameter of 16.5 cm. This is the maximum diameter of the cap for a head circumference of 52 cm. Then we knit without increases to the required cap length, approximately, to the level of eyebrows:
17-36 rows (20 rows): 84 tbsp. b / n (84 loops).
Next, conditionally we divide 84 columns of the crown into 4 parts: 24 columns each on the front and back of the cap,and 18 columns on the "ears" and for the formation of the ears and the back (more in-depth) part of the cap, we move from circular knitting to knitting with front and back rows.
1 (front) row: we knit the columns of one "eyelet", then the columns of the back and the columns of the second "ear" 18 + 24 + 18 = 60 art. b / n (60 loops).
2 (purl) row: 60 con. Art. for one half of the columns of the previous row.
Note that all purl rows are needed to return to the beginning of the previous facial row without tearing the thread.
3 (front) row: we knit in the same way as the first row, introducing a hook between the columns of the 1st row and not tying 1 column on each side to form a bevel. 17 + 24 + 17 = 58 Art. b / n (58 loops).
4 (purl) row: 58 Com. Art. for one half of the columns of the previous row.
5 (front) row: knit like the first row, introducing a hook between the columns of the 3rd row. not connecting 1 pillar on each side to form a bevel of 16 + 24 + 16 = 56 art. b / n (56 loops).
For the formation of bevels in both sides of the ears at the beginning and at the end of each row it is necessary to mismatch 1 pillar, for this:
- at the beginning of each facial row, do not knit the lifting air loop,But start knitting right from the single crochet column and insert the hook into the hole between the columns of the previous row, which is slightly to the left of the loop on the hook, and not directly below it (i.e., the second gap of the previous facial row);
- At the end of the face line, the last 2 loops are to be tied together as follows:
- In the purl rows, air lift loops are also not needed. For the first connecting loop, it is necessary to insert the hook into the second loop from the hook, i. E. also in the second span of the previous row.
Next, we proceed to the formation of the lugs, for which we continue to knit in the same way as the straight and inverse rows only on the loops of one lug to the desired length. Do not forget to form the bevels on both sides.
After the first eyelet is completely knitted, we cut the thread and, similarly, knit the second eyelet.
We knit the inner cap:
The inner hat is knitted similarly from acrylic or other soft yarn. In the process of knitting, put the inner cap into the outer cap to check the conformity of their sizes.
It may happen that, due to the difference in yarn thickness, the inner cap may turn out to be wider than the outer one, or, conversely, significantly narrower.In this case, you have to reduce / increase the number of loops, at the stage of shaping the donut of the caps.
Having reached the stage of tying the ears of the inner cap, we turn to knitting with yarn "Lotus Grass Stretch". This is necessary so that the inside of the ears is fluffy, so it turns out warmer and prettier. &Nbsp;
When both hats are knitted, we put one into the other and join them together, tying all over the bottom edge (including the ears) with crochet stitches, using “Lotus Travka Stretch” yarn. We sew the caps of caps together with several secret stitches.
We fix the visor with columns without a crocheted face and purl rows. Knit to the desired length. Then with secret stitches we sew a visor to the cap.
We knit strings: on the central loops of the lower edge of each ear, we knit 4 columns without single crochet. Next, knit facial and purl rows of 4 Art. b / n in each row to the required length.
The strings in the process of socks are drawn, so we recommend knitting them in a tighter manner.
Tip: in order to "fluff up" the elements knitted from Lotus yarn and Stretch grass, you can use the "Velcro" tape, or rather the part that consists of small hooks.
