In the Sturbacks coffee houses in South Korea, this summer they tasted an unusual Frappuccino made with avocados. From the first minutes of its appearance, this coffee became a hit of the season, and Instagram was filled with photographs of the lucky owners of a cool drink that stood for long lines.
But if Frappuchino with avocado has not yet reached your city, we will tell you how to prepare this refreshing and tasty coffee at home.
In fairness, we note that the idea of Starbucks is not at all new. Chilled coffee with the addition of a large amount of avocado pulp has long been prepared in Indonesia. Now you can try this drink!
Ingredients (for 2 servings):
- a cup of strong black coffee (preferably boiled in a coffee machine or espresso machine)
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
- 1 ripe avocado
- half a cup of sweet condensed milk
- ice cubes (quantity at discretion)
In the original Frappuccino recipe, it is complemented by a chocolate ball resembling an avocado pit. It can be replaced with chocolate syrup - for taste and decoration.
Take two tall glass cups. Apply fancy patterns of chocolate syrup on the inner walls, and set aside. Pour coffee, condensed milk, vanilla extract into the bowl of the blender. Add the avocado pulp, selected with a spoon of the fruit cut in half. Turn on the blender and mix thoroughly.
Put ice cubes in glasses, pour frappuccino and decorate with chocolate syrup on top.
