It is believed that the supplement should be entered after the appearance of the first tooth, since it can be considered a signal from the body to the fact that it is ready not only for milk. Any new food should be included in the diet very carefully and gradually. It is recommended to begin to introduce lure during the second morning feeding. To begin with, try to offer your child a spoonful of a new product, after which it needs to be fed with a more familiar food - a mixture or breast milk.If the child has refused a new product, do not be discouraged, try again in a couple of days.
After the first test, it is very important to monitor the child’s response — changes in the stool or the appearance of a rash. If there are no problems, the next day, the dose of complementary foods should be doubled and continued in the same spirit until the dose reaches one hundred and fifty grams. If at some point there are any problems, you should stop increasing the dose and, possibly, consult with your doctor. It usually takes from seven to ten days to completely replace one feeding with complementary foods.
There is no definite indication of what to start feeding. Some pediatricians recommend starting with a variety of vegetable purees, because they contain a lot of vitamins and minerals, but the structure of such food is very different from the usual milk, which can cause problems.
If you decide to start with vegetables, first it is better to give your child light or green vegetables - broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower. A little later, you can add carrots, pumpkin and potatoes. Mashed potatoes can be made independentlyand you can buy ready-made from proven manufacturers, which may even be preferable, because it does not contain fiber fibers, which can cause allergic reactions in a child.
If the child is quite thin, you can start feeding with cereals: buckwheat, rice and corn, then add oatmeal. In this case, it is also better to buy ready-made children, which are made from proven ingredients and perfectly homogenized, which is very important for a young child. It is worth starting with dairy-free cereals, you can switch to dairy ones closer to the year. It is better to replace with kashami the last feeding before bedtime, the eaten baby will sleep longer and calmer.
